WPK Kunststofftechnik: Perfection in customised solutions

The demands on plastic technology are becoming increasingly complex: Components are expected to become more compact and durable and at the same time perform multiple functions. The substitution of other materials, such as metal, continues to be an important issue. WPK Kunststofftechnik GmbH & Co. KG demonstrates how customised solutions can contribute to increased efficiency at their stall at K 2010. This is the first time that the company is participating in this trade fair.

Since its inception over 40 years, WPK has focused on complex requirements in plastics technology. All the required resources are available in-house: Right from design, which uses of state-of-the-art 3D CAD technology, to mould construction through to plastic injection moulding, WPK uses a modern and its own machinery. This comprehensive expertise in plastics enables the company to completely support projects from the prototype stage to mass production, including ready-to-install components.

The objectives are added value and benefits to the user in the form of lighter but more robust components, in the form of increased efficiency and long lasting quality. WPK offers solutions for many industrial sectors and undertakes project for well-known companies from various sectors. A ongoing example are complex assemblies, which the WPK has designed, developed and manufactured for sorting letters. A feeder unit can be seen in action at the WPK booth.
