On 1st January 2008, Mr Stefan Behnke was appointed as Managing Director for OHL Engineering GmbH (www.ohl-eng.com). He herewith succeeds Rüdiger Fredl who has now retired. Rüdiger Fredl (65) was with OHL for more than 40 years and was Managing Director of OHL Engineering since its being established by the SCHOELLER group in 2004 out of OHL Technologies. He developed the OHL recycling process and marketed the business. Stefan Behnke (46) is a graduate engineer with expansive experience in international plant-engineering for power and environmental engineering in the fields of technology, sales and marketing. He joined the company on 1st August 2007. Mr Behnke will mainly promote the PET recycling technologies and establish new markets. About Ohl OHL Engineering is a leading company in the field of recycling processes for PET with its own patented process, with which material for direct contact with foodstuffs can be produced from post-consumer PET bottles. The core of the OHL process is the tumble reactor which operates in a batch process. Granulates are decontaminated perfectly and the desired IV value can be defined.
