For our Ticona Business in Sulzbach/Ts., near Frankfurt, we are looking for an Application Development Engineer (m/f) (Consumer, E&E, Lighting) Responsibilities: Develop and maintain meaningful key customer and value chain relationship Support implementation of marketing strategies Develop and grow project pipeline Translate applications (regional and cross-functional) Resolve project related/ customer specific technical issues to support project commercialization Prospect new markets Product-, technology- and application-push (account/marketing plan driven) Foster growth by identifying customer needs and translate them into viable specifications (input into other Ticona functions) Review and compile competitive information for input into sales strategy updates Develop and implement business/ marketing plans for new technologies and new markets/ industries Drive profitable growth in new products and applications Identify new customer leads, analyze fit with Ticona product functionality/chemistry, quantify value in use and determine value price Use market-back methodologies (market segmentation, value chain analysis, value proposition) to drive leads from prototypes to viable projects and access to new markets and industries Profile: Master degree or diploma in a technical, scientific or commercial field At least 3 years of working experience Deep knowledge of consumer applications, E&E or lighting Understanding of engineering resin related applications, markets and customers Fluent in English Excellent communication skills Strategic thinking and customer focus We offer: A comprehensive compensation and benefits package combined with good career development opportunities in an international group.
