DSM Composite Resins is a globally leading solutions provider for the composites industry and is part of the Resins business group in the DSM Performance Materials cluster. The business unit develops, produces and markets unsaturated polyester resins (including vinyl esters and additives), which are used for the production of fiber-reinforced plastics or non-reinforced filled products in end-use. DSM Composite Resins is the largest producer of structural resins in Europe with a technically innovative portfolio. With headquarters in Switzerland, DSM Composite Resins has production sites with own R&D centers in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and China. DSM Composite Resins has additional commercial representation in Poland, the Baltics, Turkey, and the USA. Advanced Composites is one of the five global market segments within DSM Composite Resins, specifically focusing on the development of renewable energy (wind, solar) and lightweight applications. To strengthen our Composite Resins Europe team we are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ADVANCED COMPOSITES (F/M) This role will be located either in Switzerland (Schaffhausen) or the Netherlands (Zwolle). In this function you are responsible for identifying new business opportunities and applications. Thanks to your networking strength you are creating new business by opening up opportunities in new markets. You represent DSM to different stakeholders externally in order to develop projects leading to profitable business growth. By keeping the focus on the entire value chain you also act as support for the Account Managers. Furthermore you will be responsible for back selling DSM Resins at the end user. Various strategic and technical tasks do complete this challenging role. Your Profile Graduate in mechanical / chemical engineering or related discipline with experience in business administration Or graduate in business administration with experience in mechanical / chemical engineering Proven experience in New Business Development, preferably composites, ideally with a material science background Experience in working at OEMs or producers of composites Experience in working in global / international companies: sensitivity to different cultures Team builder with the ability to coordinate and align activities with the team Excellent multi-lingual communication skills in English (German, Dutch and other languages are a plus) Your Application For additional details or sending your application please contact Cecile.stutterheim@dsm.com, or visit our website www.dsm.com/careers.
