DSM Composite Resins is a globally leading solutions provider for the composites industry and is part of the Resins business group in the DSM Performance Materials cluster. The business unit develops, produces and markets unsaturated polyester resins (including vinyl esters and additives), which are used for the production of fiber-reinforced plastics or non-reinforced filled products in end-use. Tanks, Pipes & Relining is one of the five global market segments within DSM Composite Resins. To strengthen our Composite Resins Europe team we are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – TANKS, PIPES & RELINING (F/M) This role will be located in Europe. In this function you are responsible for identifying new business opportunities and applications. You represent DSM to different stakeholders externally in order to develop projects leading to profitable business growth. Furthermore you will be responsible for back selling DSM Resins at the end user. Various strategic and technical tasks do complete this challenging role. The Challenge Identify new business opportunities and applications in Chemical, Power and Water markets Build industry network in targeted segments, and develop channel strategy for pull marketing / back-selling In collaboration with Business Manager TPR, Expertise Manager TPR and rest of TPR team expand market and technical expertise Support Account Managers in executing account strategies and strengthen DSM market position Your Profile Graduate in mechanical / chemical engineering or related discipline with experience in business administration Extra education in composites and engineering / design would be of advantage Proven experience in New Business Development, preferably in composites and / or thermoset materials Preferably experience in water, anti-corrosion, and relining end-use markets Experience in working in global / international companies: sensitivity to different cultures, ability to work and co-ordinate activities on an ad-hoc project basis rather than on direct report basis Team builder with the ability to coordinate and align activities with the team Excellent multi-lingual communication skills in English (German, Dutch and other languages are a plus) Your Application For additional details or sending your application please contact Cecile.stutterheim@dsm.com, or visit our website www.dsm.com/careers.
