Bolt on approximate 80" x 80" flared infeed hopper - machine cutting area 58" long x 58" wide with abrasion resistant top plate - rotor is 15" diameter x 52" long with full load startup capacity and self cleaning rotor side pockets to help prevent a possible fire hazard - rotor bearings are double spherical, tapered roller bearings in solid steel housings - sidewall is high maganese contact for anrsion resistance - PLS controlled 2 speed & dual pressure hydraulic ram, external ram guides for bridge-free interior and simplified maintenance - ram has amn automatic shut off ehrm the machine runs empty, automatic reversal in an over-amp situation, 5 HP ith VFD speed control- external guide rails and spring loaded wiperd for even wear - 60 total roto D2 cutting tools fully supported & 4-way indexable, 5 sections of reversible and individually adjustable stationary cutters - drive system is a driveshaft power transfer to a fluid clutch assembly and a solid case gear reducer. 100 HP 460/3/60 drie motor. The machine is fitted with Vecoplan's exclusive rotating rotor end plates and double walled cutting chamber. This feature prevents material from rubbing against the inner sidewall wear. screen is a reversible 2-piece design with a 2.5" holes - System Controls are Allen Bradley PLC controls package in a NEMA 4 enclosure with touch screen HMI control screen.
