Sustainability is on everyone’s lips at the moment. Packaging producers and users are under pressure from retailers to assess and optimise the environmentally-friendly qualities of their products, while the entire supply chain is under pressure from government, pressure groups and consumers to ensure that packaging is as sustainable as possible. But what does this really mean?
This new conference will examine the concept of sustainable packaging in all forms, and look at methods to reduce the environmental impact of plastic packaging at every stage of the supply chain, from choice of material to packaging design, to end-of-life treatment.
