Between 2009 and 2012, more than 20 million tons of plastic raw materials capacity will come on stream in the GCC region alone. Together with strong support from the governing bodies across the Middle East, analysts are expecting at least 25% of the global plastics industry to be based in this region.
The 2nd Plastic Packaging Middle East Summit provides a timely platform for industry stakeholders from the value chain, including petrochemical manufacturers, plastic processors and converters, FMCG and F&B brand owners, R&D institutions and solution providers, to discuss the prospects and strategies for leveraging on this region’s export market.
