IHS Chemical has announced the date and location for this year's SPF global plastics films event. It will be in Düsseldorf, Germany, on June 20 and 21.
Formerly hosted by Maack Business Services (now a part of IHS Chemical), the Speciality Plastic Films (SPF) annual conference has been one of the longest running conferences dedicated to the plastics films business. Over the past 26 years, this event has established a global reputation for its ability to draw the top providers and users of materials, equipment, and processing technology for films from around the world to discuss the latest developments in this vital continually developing field.
Under its new name, World Symposium on Performance Films, SPF will offer the same high level of knowledge and insight, as well as opportunities to exchange ideas with other key players in the industry.
Presentations will give comprehensive treatment of major sectors relating to the film/sheet industry. Topics will include polyethylenes; polypropylenes; styrenics; nylons; barrier resins; bioplastics; and innovations in processing technologies and applications.
SPF is aimed at film processor and user business managers and directors, at film buyers, plant and production managers and directors, and at technology managers and directors. IHS is offering special discount rates to people who register before March 14.
