The SPE - European Thermoforming Division (E.T.D.) will include current trends concerning the practical aspects of thermoforming and innovative new developments of the preceding two years. Specialists from the entire thermoforming industry are invited to take this opportunity, which has now become something of a tradition, for the exchange of experiences and opinions.
Indeed, the “European Thermoforming Conference” has now developed into a European meeting point for the sector, with its focus not only on processors of plastic foil materials, but also on those who manufacture the material and supply plant equipment and machine tools – not forgetting the suppliers of peripherals and services, and designers working in the plastics industry.
The conference in Viareggio offers the chance to obtain an early preview of the latest results of research in the field and new ideas, along with innovations and their adaptation to industrial applications. You also can take part in discussion workshops designed to produce solutions of real use for day-to-day operations. This event is also the ideal way to meet not only specialist suppliers in the sector, but also to make and cultivate contacts with colleagues and competitors alike.
Parallel exhibition
The conference is to be complimented by an exhibition (table top displays) of relevant products and services offered by a variety of leading suppliers to the Thermoforming industry. This will also be held in the Versilia Centro Congressi in Viareggio.
Specialist presentations and workshops with simultaneous-translation facilities
Presentations will be covering the theme of the conference “Thermoforming for Profit: From Concept to Excellence” in a competent and comprehensive way.
The individual blocks will deal with such matters as the latest research results and know-how in the areas of total quality management, market trends in Europe, material developments, twin sheet forming, post-processing of moulded components and process-simulation techniques.
Given the expected strong international participation – as on previous occasions – the organizers will be offering simultaneous translation into Italian, English, French and German, of the presentations.
