Polymer Sourcing 2008 will be held from 15-17 April 2008. This will already be the 4th edition of this AMI forum specifically designed for all companies involved in the European polymer supply chain.
The conference will highlight the effect of worldwide changes in polymer production on polymer trading and distribution in Europe. It will also present a Middle Eastern perspective on changing global patterns of polymer demand, explore logistical problems for polymer suppliers, take a new look at e-commerce and supply chain optimization whilst reviewing the impact of the LME futures contracts on the way polyolefins are sold in Europe just over a year after these contracts were first launched.
Growth in European polymer distribution is already averaging more than 6% a year, at least twice the growth rate for the polymer industry in Europe as a whole. Now that new suppliers from outside Europe are seeking new European distribution and trading partners,
this growth rate can only accelerate.
Polymer Sourcing 2008 is an opportunity for existing industry participants to learn more about recent developments but also to think about the future and how to evolve in a very competitive market with high polymer prices, rising consumption in Asia and new suppliers from the Middle East changing the dynamics
of the market.
This event will provide a comprehensive overview of the current developments and future trends in the polymer sourcing industry on an international scale.
