A new material generation for lightweight components – Made in Germany

Based in the city of Halle/Saale, Germany, ThermHex Waben GmbH offers a brand new type of Polypropylene (PP) honeycomb, the proved and tested core material for manufacturers of sandwich elements.

ThermHex honeycomb core can be used for the production of lightweight construction components in a vast variety of applications and industries. From rigid truck boxes and car interior parts to lightweight furniture and fibreglass swimming pools.

The novel, continuous and efficient ThermHex production process enables the use of honeycomb core even in applications where, mostly for cost reason, the material hasn’t been considered an option to date.

Established in 2009, ThermHex Waben GmbH is a licensee of EconCore NV from Leuven (Belgium), technology leader in economic honeycomb sandwich materials.
