Moulding Expo, in short just "MEX", the International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making, takes place every two years in Stuttgart and is divided into several exhibition areas:
The focus is on tool, pattern and mould making, which is very user-oriented with its injection moulding, die casting and forming tools, as well as gauge construction and jig and fixtures manufacturing. In addition, the trade fair presents systems and service providers of plastics technology and metalworking: from manufacturers of machine tools and machining tools, suppliers of hot runner systems, measuring and testing equipment and materials, through to software providers.
