Conference from 2007-10-16 to 2007-10-19
City/Country: Arcachon, Palais des Congrès, France
Contact: Catherine Roulinat (AquiConf.Polymers@enscpb.fr)
Research and innovation are the top priorities of the Aquitaine Region and two main motors in its economic and employment policy. Aquitaine is now the leader among French regions for its investment in fundamental and applied science. For polymers, neurosciences and lasers have contributed enormously to its reputation in the scientific arena, the region is initiating a new series of conferences at the frontiers of these three domains for the exclusive benefit of the scientific community, in particular its young members.
This first ever-organized Aquitaine Conference on Polymers will provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of new concepts and new avenues of research in polymer science. Its moderate size -less than 150 participants- is designed to give an opportunity for young researchers to establish personal contacts with renowned world leaders. Among other topics the conference will address and focus on precision polymer synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, hierarchies and structures in polymeric materials, polymer films and surfaces, challenges in formulation and processing of polymers, as well as polymers for advanced materials applications.
