Duroplastische Kunststoffe erfüllen in vielen Produkten wichtige Funktionen. Man findet sie als Matrixsystem in mechanisch und thermisch belasteten Verbundwerkstoffen, als Hochleistungsklebstoffe im Flugzeug- und Automobilbau, oder als Harzsystem im Prototypenbau. Hieraus resultiert ein sehr vielfältiges Anforderungsprofil an das duroplastische System.
