The organizers of this first edition of the Moulding Expo are convinced, that a high-tech region such as the Stuttgart region where the automobile was invented and the mechanical engineering industry is domiciled needs a trade fair for tool and mould making. Thus, the Messe Stuttgart decided to create Moulding Expo and therefore give the tool and mould making industry a new home.
