In week 37/2026, polymer prices across Central and Eastern Europe showed mixed developments. While polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) generally recorded increases, styrenic polymers experienced downward price pressure.
Within polyethylene, all HDPE grades became more expensive. HDPE film recorded the strongest increase, rising by 30/t to 1,250/t. HDPE blow moulding increased by 18/t to 1,217/t, while LDPE film gained 10/t to reach 1,276/t.
Polypropylene prices also strengthened. PP copolymer injection moulding recorded the largest increase of 34/t, reaching 1,332/t. PP homopolymer injection moulding rose by 18/t to 1,168/t.
Styrenic polymers followed the opposite trend. GPPS declined by 61/t to 1,534/t, EPS fell by 48/t to 1,750/t, and HIPS decreased by 29/t to 1,676/t.
Overall, the market remained divided, with rising PE and PP prices contrasting with significant declines in styrenics. Recycled polymer prices remained largely stable.
