In week 39/2026, polymer prices across Central and Eastern Europe were predominantly on the rise. Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) recorded notable increases, while most styrenic polymers and recycled materials remained stable.
Within polyethylene, HDPE film increased by €50/t to €1,311/t. HDPE injection moulding gained €26/t to reach €1,223/t, while LDPE rose by €27/t to €1,333/t. LLDPE C4 advanced by €30/t to €1,189/t.
Polypropylene prices also strengthened considerably. PP homopolymer injection moulding recorded an increase of €64/t to €1,261/t. PP homopolymer fibre rose by €44/t to €1,221/t, while PP copolymer injection moulding gained €20/t to reach €1,366/t.
Among styrenic polymers, EPS stood out with a substantial increase of €86/t to €1,836/t. ABS, GPPS and HIPS remained unchanged. Recycled LDPE film and recycled PP injection moulding prices were also stable compared with the previous week.
Overall, the market experienced widespread increases in virgin polymer prices. Of the 18 polymer grades monitored, 12 recorded price gains and six remained unchanged. No price declines were reported.
