EPS (STYROPIAN) COMPACTING LINE
The EPS waste compacting line is designed to compact polystyrene, which allows for a significant reduction in waste volume, increased transport efficiency and storage optimization. This process allows waste to be processed in an economical way, in accordance with the principles of closed-loop economy.
The input material is mainly waste classified under the code:
• 15 01 02 – plastic packaging waste.
The final product of the process is compressed EPS in the form of regular cubes, resembling building blocks. The material is compressed up to 50 times, reaching a density in the range of 200-400 kg/m3.
Components of the line
The EPS compacting line consists of the following elements:
1. Crusher – a specially designed device for crushing polystyrene, enabling its effective feeding to the next stage of the process.
2. Forming channel – a place where the crushed material is subjected to high pressure in order to compact it.
3. Automatic guillotine – enables precise cutting of formed blocks, which ensures their uniform dimensions and facilitates further logistics.
Thanks to the use of modern technological solutions, the EPS compaction line ensures high efficiency of waste processing, contributing to cost optimization and increasing the possibility of recycling the raw material.
