Delayed publication of photos

As a system operator, we are obliged under current case law to ensure that content on our platform does not infringe the rights of third parties. Against the background of a warning campaign by a competitor, this applies in particular to images uploaded by users. These may not, for example, contain watermarks from third parties, such as other machine portals.

Since an infringement of image rights can have both legal and financial consequences for us as well as for you as a user, we are unfortunately forced to subject every single uploaded image to an individual visual inspection. This cannot be done automatically, but must be carried out manually by a member of staff. Unfortunately, this measure entails that the images for the offers can only appear with a certain delay.

We make every effort to check and activate the offers as quickly as possible. As a rule, this is done on the day the offer is posted or the following day. In the case of offers posted at the weekend or on public holidays, the check will not be carried out until the next working day at the earliest.

We ask for your understanding and would also like to ask you to refrain from asking when certain images will be activated.
