Series 4 Ameri-Shred industrial shredders shred 2.4 tons to 7.5 tons per hour with a 30 inch throat opening.



Ameri-Shred's Series 4 industrial strip cut shredders destroy not just simply several hundred pounds per hour. Rather, these units tackle several tons of materials each hour, for considerably one of the highest throughput available. The third in this series, the Ameri-Shred AMS-7500 offer s 75 HP motor to power paper, steel, wood, and more. Unlike the other series of strip cut shredders, the Series 4 is available in 4 different shred widths. As the shred size increases, the AMS-7500's throughput increases. This unit shreds 1/2" strips and results in 3.2-4.0 tons, whereas 5/8" strips allows for 4.0-5.0 tons each hour. For higher volume shred per hour, the user may consider a model that produces either 1" or 1 1/2" strips. To speed up production, this unit can be paired with an inground or above ground paper metering system. This system utilizes hinged steel belt conveyors, which automatically feed the shredders at a smooth and even rate. In turn, continuous high volume destruction is provided with just a single operator. To help reduce energy consumption, the AMS-7500 offers an automatic shutdown feature. For maintenance purposes, this unit also includes an automatic lubrication system.
