Maag Group: New sales director for Germany

Maag Group has announced the appointment of Alaaddin Aydin as sales director for Germany with effect from 1 January 2011. As a complete single-source provider for gear pumps, screen changers and pelletizing systems, the company´s sales team under the leadership of Mr. Aydin will be even better able to serve the important German market, with broader resources to develop new applications and tap new market opportunities.

With more than 15 years in the polymer processing industry, Mr. Aydin brings a broad base of professional experience and practical expertise. Following completion of his apprenticeship in mechanics, he completed his studies in industrial engineering with a concentration in mechanical engineering at the University of Siegen, Germany, after which he worked for five years as manager of a company in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining Maag Group, he served as sales director at several different companies, most recently for a producer of pelletizing systems based in southwestern Germany.
