A Spanish research institution has developed a procedure to obtain new polymeric materials with organocatalysts covalently anchored to polymeric chains. The proposed `monomer-based? design allows the functionalization of vinylic polymeric precursors, and to obtain the final materials by a simple chain polymerization which allows a high flexibility in terms of load control and multifuncionality. Industrial Partners interested in a patent license for the exploitation of the technology are sought.
