Tensile Test Specimen for Polymers - Mechanical properties of plastics now observable due to tensile stage
|
A large German Research Institute has developed a tensile stage (Tensile Test Specimen for Polymers) which offers the possibility to observe, under the electron microscope, in a tensile test, morphological changes along the fracture zone and to record the mechanical data in stress-strain diagrams. This technology is applicable especially in plastics industry and measuring technology. The institute is seeking either a license agreement or a technical cooperation.
