Technology to Improve Piercing by Plastic Spikes

A large US company is looking for proposals for technologies that can allow efficient penetration of a vial?s rubber stopper by a molded plastic spike without a silicone lubricant or with minimal risk that vial contents are exposed to a silicone lubricant. They are interested in contract/joint development, intellectual property licensing, subassembly component provider, product acquisition, proof of concept leading to scale up to manufacturing.
