Lanxess increases price level for Chloroprene Rubber
|
Lanxess announces a price increase for its Baypren branded Chloroprene business line of up to EUR 180 EUR / 240 USD per metric ton on a global basis. Reason being the since early 2012 again increasing raw material and energy prices amidst a tightening market for the respective feedstocks. Subject to the terms of any applicable contracts and regulations, price increases will be implemented starting February 15th, 2012. Advert CR, which LANXESS offers under the name Baypren, is appropriate to produce e.g. cable sheathings, hoses, belts and air springs.
