A German university has developed a discontinuous high-frequency welding for joining lightweight materials, such as high-strength steels, aluminium, magnesium and titanium alloys, carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced composites. The university offers commercial agreements or technical cooperation to industrial partners (e.g. manufacturers of lightweight materials, industrial equipment and machinery) to assist them in various areas of application of the manufacturing process.
