DuPont announces price increases
|
The European headquarters of DuPont Engineering Polymers (www.dupont.com) announced that in Europe, Middle East and Africa prices for all its Engineering Polymers will increase effective May 15, 2006. The prices of polyamide 6 and 66 as well as those of PBT and PET will increase by € 0.20 per kg. The products affected include Zytel® , Minlon®, Crastin® and Rytnite® polymers and compounded products. Advert Some specialty grades within these product families may increase by more than € 0.20 per kg. The prices of Delrin®, Hytrel®, Thermx®, Zenite® and Zytel® HTN will increase by at least 5 %.
DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) Europe, Middle East and Africa announces a price increase of 0.15 Euro/kg also for all its grades of Elvaloy®AC, Elvax® and Nucrel® resins, effective 15th May 2006 or as customer contracts allow. These price increases are driven by the continuous cost escalation of raw materials, energy and transportation. |
