Quadrant: Price Increase for Stock Shapes in Europe

Quadrant Engineering Plastics Products (EPP, www.quadrantplastics.com) is set to introduce a price increase of up to 8,5 per cent, depending on the kind of product, for its stock shapes in General Engineering Plastics (GEP – like PA-Cast, PA extr, POM, PET), Advanced Engineering Plastics (AEP) and its PE based stock shapes TIVAR® ([PE-UHMW] and PE 500 [PE-HMW]) These increases apply to pricing in Europe and will take effect from June 26, 2006. Advert This decision is a direct result of the significant increases in cost, which Quadrant EPP has incurred in personnel, raw material, energy, packaging and transportation. In particular, the continuous increase in the cost of Benzene, the main feedstock of most engineering plastics, has been a primary cause of these price increases.
