DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers Adjusts Resin Prices

DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) (www.dupont.com) announces a price increase for its ethylene copolymer product line in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The increase of 0.15 Euro/kg will take effect globally September 15, 2006, or as customer contracts allow. “The price increase is necessary to support continued reinvestment in product development and research in the face of strong market demand and raw material and energy costs that have rapidly escalated over the past few months,” said Diego Boeri, European Director Ethylene Copolymers (ECP) at DuPont P&IP. “We remain committed to providing reliable supply and innovation to our customers.” |
