Engineered bio plastic for bio packaging
|
An Italian university research team with expertise in new materials has developed at concept stage an innovative performing bio plastic that can be used for food and drug bio packaging. The bio plastic is thermally stable, resistant and protective. It is composed by biopolymers that offer a high barrier against aroma, vapor, oxygen and carbon dioxide.
