Extricom + Ohl Engineering: New PET-Recycling plant for 12,000 tonnes per annum

Extricom GmbH (www.extricom.de) and Ohl Engineering GmbH – PET Recycling Technologies (www.ohl-technologies.de) have received an order from PKR in Beselich for the installation of their second PET recycling plant.

The principal underlying reasons for this choice of investment were Extricom’s years of experience in the continuous development of the patented RingExtruder and Ohl Engineering’s Ohl Stehning process for the controlled IV-increase of the recycled PET.

Advert

Under the new project, Extricom is to deliver the total extrusion line, from feeding of the flakes right through to the pelletising and post-crystallisation of the pellets. The capacity of the extrusion line is 12,000 tonnes per annum.

The core component of the line will be a RE 5 XPV RingExtruder. The new generation of the RingExtruder offers significant improvements in product quality and virtually unique process efficiency.
