Ascend: Price increase for intermediate materials

Ascend Performance Materials announced a price increase for its nylon intermediate materials. The price increase takes effect October 1, as contracts allow, and includes the following price changes:

  • Acrylonitrile (AN): $0.12/lb
  • Hexamethylene Diamine (HMD): $0.14/lb
  • Adiponitrile (ADN): $0.14/lb
  • Adipic Acid (AA): $0.05/lb
