Trinseo: Price Decrease for Polystyrene in Europe

Trinseo, a specialty material solutions provider, and its affiliate companies in Europe recently announced a price adjustment for various polystyrene (PS), grades. Effective June 1, 2023, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will decrease as follows:

  • "Styron" and "Styron X-Tech" general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by -75 Euro per metric ton
  • "Styron" and "Styron A-Tech", "Styron C-Tech" and "Styron X-Tech" high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by -75 Euro per metric ton
