Arburg: New subsidiary in Vietnam

Arburg opened a new branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in July of this year. The main aim of the machine manufacturer is to bring its products and services closer to customers in Vietnam. The new subsidiary has a dedicated small team of experts in sales and service. It is also networked with the other branches in the Asian market and the Arburg Technology Factory (ATF) in Pinghu, China.

David Chan, Managing Director ASEAN: "Vietnam’s strategic location in the ASEAN region makes it an important location for our company’s further growth. This move will enable us to further expand our strong presence in the ASEAN markets. The plastics industry is constantly evolving. Our presence in Vietnam means we can fully meet the needs of a rapidly developing market. We can respond to local demand and serve customers directly with innovative solutions and quality products from the Arburg portfolio."

Now, with the new subsidiary in Vietnam, Arburg has organizations at 36 locations in 26 countries worldwide and, together with its trading partners, is represented in over 100 countries overall.
