Moretto has opened its "Moretto de Mexico" branch in Querétaro. This step expands the company’s international presence, which currently includes five production sites and nine sales offices in more than 70 countries. Moretto has been active in the Mexican market since 1998. With the new subsidiary, the company aims to strengthen customer proximity and expand local service and sales support. The branch will serve as a technological platform and as a presentation site for the company’s latest developments in material conveying, dosing, drying, granulation, temperature control, process cooling, and storage. Mexico’s plastics sector is considered a growth market. According to the Mexican industry association Anipac, the sector is expected to grow by around 3.5 % in 2025. Key drivers include the automotive, packaging, construction, and recycling industries. Nearshoring advantages and the government’s “Plan Mexico” are expected to further reinforce this trend. In 2024, Moretto reported a 15 % increase in sales in Mexico. With the new branch, the company intends to build on this positive development, expand technical partnerships, and seize new business opportunities. More information: www.moretto.com |
