K.D. Feddersen: New Subsidiary Established in Portugal

K.D. Feddersen Distribution GmbH is expanding its European market presence with the establishment of K.D. Feddersen Unipessoal, Lda in Porto, Portugal. With this new subsidiary, the company aims to strengthen its position in Southern Europe and to intensify direct contact with customers in the region.

The new branch will serve as a local contact point for the Portuguese market, providing improved customer support and tailored services. An experienced local sales team will address the specific needs of Portuguese customers and offer customized solutions.

According to Dr. Stephan Schnell, Managing Director of K.D. Feddersen GmbH & Co. KG, the expansion represents an important step in the company’s European growth strategy. The new presence in Portugal will help further enhance service quality and performance offerings in Southern Europe, together with existing partners.

The product portfolio of K.D. Feddersen Unipessoal, Lda includes engineering plastics from partner companies Celanese, Ascend, Trinseo, Teijin, Hyosung, Aurora, Skytech, and Bio-Fed. The range is complemented by the application-oriented development services of M.Tec Engineering GmbH, a sister company within the Feddersen Group.

To further optimize delivery capability and logistics, K.D. Feddersen plans to establish a warehouse in the Porto metropolitan area by the end of the year. This will improve regional supply, accelerate product availability, and increase delivery flexibility within Portugal.

Pedro Aires, Country Manager of the new company, emphasizes that the local presence and planned warehouse infrastructure will play a key role in specifically serving the Portuguese market and providing customers with high-quality products and expert advice.
