Gazprom OAO: Purchase of BOPP Film Plant from Grinn Corp.
| Gazprom OAO, part of the giant Gazprom gas monopoly, has purchased the bi-axially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film plant from Russian company Grinn Corporation (www.grinn-corp.ru). Grinn Corporation, a consumer and packaging group, is located in Kursk. The plant includes two BOPP lines from machinery manufacturer DMT and has a total output of 38,000 t/y. The first 6.600 meter wide line started up in February 2005 and the second line began operating in November 2005. |
