Molding Solutions: New Production Site in India

Molding Solutions will open a new production site in India on January 20 and 21, 2026. With this greenfield plant, the company is expanding its presence in one of the world’s largest markets for plastics injection molding and is strategically increasing its capacities in the field of hot runner systems.

The new site is part of Molding Solutions’ long-term growth strategy. The objective is to shorten delivery times, increase flexibility in order processing, and strengthen proximity to customers in the Asian market. Until now, the Indian market has been supplied predominantly from production facilities in China. By establishing local manufacturing capabilities, the company is now consistently pursuing a local-for-local approach.

The official opening will take place on January 20, 2026, as part of a traditional Indian ceremony. On the following day, Molding Solutions will host a customer event for customers and business partners at the new site.

At the start of production, the facility will offer the full range of services for the hot runner systems of the Synventive and Thermoplay brands. This includes engineering services such as Moldflow analyses, system assembly, and after-sales services. In addition, a repair center will be set up to provide local maintenance and repair services.
