Lanxess: Price increase for Hexanediol
|
Specialty chemicals group Lanxess is raising its prices for 1,6-Hexanediol with immediate effect. The increase amounts to an average of 20 percent and applies worldwide. Advert The company says the decision is due to ongoing, cumulative cost increases. These include significantly higher energy costs and rising raw material costs. Despite intensive efforts to mitigate these increases and maintain stable prices, an adjustment has become necessary in order to ensure the reliability and sustainability of supplies over the long term.
