Lanxess: Price Increase for Inorganic Pigments

Lanxess has increased prices for products from its Inorganic Pigments business unit with immediate effect. According to the company, the adjustment amounts to up to 20 percent, depending on the product and region. The specialty chemicals group cites persistently rising costs as the reason, particularly in the areas of energy, raw materials, and logistics. The company says this development is linked to ongoing geopolitical tensions. Advert Lanxess stated that it had tried to cushion these burdens and maintain previous price levels. However, in light of current cost developments, the price adjustment had become necessary.
