Bischof+Klein: Alexander Wansel Appointed New COO

Effective May 1, 2026, Bischof+Klein is expanding its Management Board. Dr. Alexander Wansel will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for the global operations divisions of the corporate group. His key responsibilities will include the further development of the company’s production and process landscape.

Wansel holds a doctorate in industrial engineering and has more than 25 years of professional experience in the packaging industry. Before joining Bischof+Klein, he held senior operational positions at Huhtamaki Flexibles, the RKW Group, and Schott Pharma. In those roles, he was involved, among other things, in optimizing and scaling international production networks.

With this appointment, Bischof+Klein is strengthening the company’s operational management level. According to the company, Wansel is expected to help further develop its international production and process structures.
