Lindner Washtech: Marcel Willberg becomes second managing director

Lindner Washtech has appointed Marcel Willberg as second managing director alongside Georg Krenn. Willberg has been with the company for around ten years and will primarily be responsible for global sales going forward.

Willberg previously served as sales director at Lindner Washtech. In this role, he and his team supported customers in Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. The projects implemented included large-scale plants for municipal waste management companies as well as customised systems for international plastics processors and companies in the petrochemical industry.

According to the company, Willberg has extensive process expertise in plastics recycling, including sorting, pre-shredding, cold and hot washing, drying and quality assurance. The appointment is described by the company as the result of long-term internal management development.

Georg Krenn will remain managing director of Lindner Washtech. Krenn has held a senior management role since the company was founded and has been responsible for its international development to date. Krenn and Willberg will jointly manage the company’s global business going forward.

Lindner Washtech is a manufacturer of washing systems for the plastics recycling industry. The company develops and supplies systems for processing and cleaning post-consumer and post-industrial plastics, including films, rigid plastics and PET packaging. According to the company, Lindner Washtech has implemented more than 250 projects worldwide. Through the technology partnership between Lindner and Erema, the company offers integrated solutions for plastics processing through to recyclate production.
