Pigment manufacturer Sudarshan Chemical Industries has opened its second global headquarters in Schwalbach am Taunus near Frankfurt. The company had already inaugurated the nearly 21,000 ft², or around 1,950 m², office space in the “Hillsite Office Building” on June 9, 2026. It complements the existing global headquarters in Pune, India. The premises are leased by the German entity Sudarshan Germany Horizons GmbH. The site is located around 11 km from the company’s production facility at Industriepark Höchst. Designed as an open-plan office environment, the building is intended in particular to support collaboration between the company’s international business units. The establishment of the second global headquarters is linked to Sudarshan Chemical’s acquisition of the Heubach Group. The transaction was completed in March 2025. As part of the acquisition, Sudarshan had already identified Germany as a strategically important location and announced plans to establish a second global headquarters in the Frankfurt area. Following the integration of Heubach, Sudarshan operates 19 production sites and supplies more than 4,000 customers. The company is active in more than 120 countries. Its portfolio includes organic, inorganic and pearlescent pigments for applications including plastics, coatings, printing inks and cosmetics. More information: www.sudarshan.com |
