EuPC Appoints Erich Cuaz as New Director General

The European Plastics Converters Association (EuPC) has appointed Erich Cuaz as its new Director General, effective 1 September 2026. In his new role, he will head EuPC’s Brussels office and also take over the leadership of Polymer Comply Europe (PCE).

Cuaz brings experience in public affairs, communications and sustainability, as well as a strong understanding of European policy and regulatory frameworks. He has previously held senior positions in both trade associations and companies.

At EuPC, Cuaz will work closely with President Jean-Marc Galvez, the Board and member companies to further shape the association’s strategic direction. Key priorities will include advocating for the interests of Europe’s plastics converting industry, promoting a competitive regulatory environment, and supporting investment in innovation and the circular economy.

His additional role at PCE is expected to strengthen cooperation and alignment between the two organisations. PCE provides services in areas including regulatory compliance, association management, projects and studies.

EuPC also thanked outgoing Managing Director Alexandre Dangis for his many years of service to the association.

Based in Brussels, EuPC says it represents more than 50,000 plastics converting companies across Europe, serving sectors including packaging, construction, automotive and technical plastics.
