Krall Kunststoff-Recycling: Louis Krall Appointed Managing Director

Louis Krall has joined the management team of Krall Kunststoff-Recycling GmbH with effect from July 1, 2026. He will now manage the family-owned recycling company in Elsenfeld am Main alongside his father and company founder Markus Krall. The appointment marks an important step in preparing the business for a generational transition in its management.

As Managing Director, Louis Krall will primarily oversee sales, purchasing and customer development. Markus Krall will continue to focus on the automation of operational processes and the company’s strategic development.

Born in 1995, Louis Krall has worked for the company since 2018. Following commercial vocational training, he started his career in sales. He was appointed Head of Sales in 2020 and granted procuration rights in 2021. Since the beginning of 2025, he has also served as an authorized signatory of the subsidiary Polymer Solutions GmbH.

In his roles at both companies, Louis Krall will focus in particular on strengthening cooperation within the group. Key priorities include coordinating joint activities and developing and marketing recycling solutions.

Founded in 1992, Krall Kunststoff-Recycling specializes in processing plastic waste into secondary raw materials. Its main areas of activity include transparent plastics such as polycarbonate and PMMA, as well as engineering plastics. The company also recycles CDs.

At its Elsenfeld site, Krall operates six production halls with a total usable area of around 12,000 square metres. Around 40 employees work with two shredders and ten granulators. According to the company, annual plastics throughput amounts to approximately 8,000 tonnes. Part of the energy required for operations is generated by the company’s own solar installations.

Also based in Elsenfeld, subsidiary Polymer Solutions GmbH processes plastic materials into regranulates and compounds, complementing the recycling and processing activities of Krall Kunststoff-Recycling.
