Designed as a compact dual-station module, it is optimized for seamless integration into automated production lines and enables two assemblies to be welded in a single operation – (Photo: Evosys Laser). The company will also present an absorption testing device designed to measure the absorption behavior of plastic components along the intended weld contour. The system can be used to compare different materials and production batches, helping manufacturers identify variations in material properties at an early stage. The resulting data can be used to optimize welding parameters and improve process stability and reproducibility. Evosys will use its Fakuma exhibit to demonstrate how machine technology, welding processes, and quality assurance can be combined to support robust and cost-efficient production. Evosys Laser GmbH, based in Erlangen, Germany, develops and manufactures systems for the laser welding of plastics, including custom machinery and solutions for integration into automated production lines.
