MW Compounds to Showcase Recycling Compounds and Process Optimization

At Fakuma 2026, MW Compounds GmbH will present material solutions for injection molding aimed at improving material efficiency, reducing scrap and shortening cycle times. The company will focus on engineering compounds based on both virgin and recycled raw materials, as well as on tailoring material properties to specific processing conditions.

Engineering materials for demanding applications
MW Compounds’ portfolio includes compounds based on PA 6, PA 6.6, PBT, POM, ABS and other engineering thermoplastics. Depending on the application, the company supplies both virgin-material and recycled grades. Its range also includes glass-fiber- and mineral-reinforced compounds, as well as customized formulations developed for specific customer requirements.

A key area of focus is the interaction between material properties and injection molding parameters. According to MW Compounds, application-specific material selection can have a direct impact on factors such as flow behavior, processing temperatures, holding pressure and cooling times. By optimizing this interaction, the company aims to improve process stability and repeatability while helping processors reduce cycle times and scrap rates.
