Coperion: Thomas Kehl appointed Head of Competence Center Service

The Coperion Group (www.coperion.com) has appointed Mr. Thomas Kehl (Photo) Head of its Competence Center Service. Besides the Competence Center Service, the customer and task oriented organization of the Coperion Group comprises the Competence Center Compounding & Extrusion (headed by Wolfgang Pöschl) and the Competence Center Materials Handling (headed by Axel Kiefer). Together with Günter Bachmann (CEO), Axel Kiefer, Thomas Kehl and Wolfgang Pöschl form the Executive Board of Coperion Group GmbH.

After graduating in Business Economics, Thomas Kehl, 47, held various management positions in companies in the plastics industry, including 5 years with a well-known plastics producer in the USA. He has acquired wide sales, marketing and service experience, most recently with an international machine manufacturer and supplier to the automotive industry. As Head of the Competence Center Service at Coperion, Thomas Kehl will be responsible for an important link in Coperion´s value chain. Already highly competitive on an international scale, Coperion´s service organization will be further extended under Thomas Kehl through additional service centres and innovative, customer-oriented service products.
