Plast Eurasia 2026 Expects 80,000 Trade Visitors in Istanbul

Plast Eurasia 2026 will take place from December 2 to 5, 2026, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, marking the 35th edition of the Turkish plastics industry trade fair. The event is organized by Tüyap Tüm Fuarcılık Yapım A.ª. in cooperation with the Turkish Plastics Industrialists’ Research, Development and Education Foundation (PAGEV).

According to the organizers, around 90 percent of the available exhibition space had already been booked approximately three months ahead of the event. A total of 80,000 trade visitors from Turkey and international markets are expected to attend.

Machinery, Raw Materials and Chemicals in Focus
Plast Eurasia 2026 will focus on two core segments of the plastics industry: machinery and equipment for plastics processing, and raw materials and chemicals. The exhibition will also showcase new production technologies and solutions aimed at improving efficiency and increasing value creation.

As a result, the trade fair covers key parts of the plastics industry value chain, ranging from material supply to processing technologies and production equipment.

The organizers expect particularly strong international attendance from Germany, Belgium, Greece, Romania, France, Italy and Poland, as well as from the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The event is therefore positioned as a platform for business and technology exchange between the Turkish plastics industry and international sales, sourcing and technology markets.

For comparison, Plast Eurasia 2025 attracted 1,503 exhibitors and 76,430 trade visitors, according to the organizer. International visitors accounted for 18 percent of total attendance.

35th Anniversary to Highlight Industry Developments
To mark the fair’s 35th anniversary, organizers are planning a “milestone map” at the exhibition venue, presenting key stages in the history of Plast Eurasia alongside major developments in the plastics industry.

A separate exhibition of historic plastics processing machinery is also planned, providing an overview of how production equipment has evolved technologically over several decades.

During the opening event, Kontel Elektronik, Enformak Plastic Technologies and Almak Ateº Makine are also expected to be recognized for their long-standing participation in the trade fair. According to the organizers, all three companies have exhibited at Plast Eurasia for 35 years.
